- 4 oz salted butter completely softened at room temperature
- 3 pieces spicy salami chopped
- 3 pieces coppa chopped
- 3 green olives chopped
- 2 sun-dried tomatoes chopped
- 1 sprig parsley chopped
- 1 artisan bread cut into small slices
Toast slices of bread in an oven if desired.
Use an off-set spatula to spread and smear butter on a board.
Sprinkle spicy salami and coppa on the butter. Followed by chopped olive and sun-fried tomatoes.
Add chopped parsley as close to serving time as possible.
Serve with slices of bread on the side.
- The butter board can last for a long time at room temperature (up to 5-6 hours).
- Add chopped parsley just right before serving time to keep its brightness as much as possible (it is only a recommendation).
- If you're serving a big crowd (like 20-50 people), you can make many boards a day in advance and put it back to the fridge (just don't add any fresh herb on top yet). Then one hour before serving time, let them soften at room temperature. The butter and everything else will taste just fine.
