In a mixing bowl, add all dry ingredients in.
In separate mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter and vanilla extract.
Pour the egg mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring to blend. Let the batter rest for at least 3 hours or up to a day in refrigerator. Batter may be made 1 day in advance.
Preheat your waffle maker and cook the batter according to the maker manufacturer's instruction.
Serve waffles immediately with your choice of toppings and sides.
