Ingredients
- ½ lb salmon fillet no skin, cut into bite-size cubes
- 1 dash Kosher salt for seasoning
- 1 dash black pepper for seasoning
- ¼ c vegetable oil for frying
- 2 oz unsalted butter ¼ stick of butter
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Cajun seasoning
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp lemon pepper
- 2 tbsp honey
- 6 medium garlic cloves minced
For garnish
- 1 tbsp green onion chopped
- ½ medium lemon
Instructions
- Pat dry salmon, then cut it into bite-size bites. Lightly season them with salt and pepper.
- Pour vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet and heat on medium-high heat.
- When the oil is hot, add and fry salmon in small batches, 1 minute for each side. Do not overcrowd the pan. Then transfer fried salmon to a clean dish.
- Drain and discard the excess cooking oil. Add and melt unsalted butter in the pan.
- Once the butter has completely melted, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute over low heat.
- Then add Cajun, other spices, and honey to the butter garlic mixture. Give the sauce a few stirs to dissolve everything completely.
- Add salmon bites to the pan. Gently toss and coat all the salmon with the sauce. Immediately turn off the heat.
