    Cajun honey butter salmon bites

Salmon bites are fried to tender perfection then cooked in a mixture of honey, butter, and assorted Cajun spices.

A quick meal that is easy to make and is a hand-down crowd pleaser.

This recipe is so good and super versatile because:

    • It's unique: if you're looking for an out-of-a-box recipe, you should look no further. A very creative and delicious way to transform even your left-over salmon into a tasty meal.
    • It takes only 15 minutes to make: the recipe can be done on the spot. It's ideal if you want an impromptu dish to fill your stomach.
    • It has such delicious sauce: you can't stop eating that addictive sauce until the last drop. Butter and garlic are among the best combinations for any food recipe (see: garlic butter corn ribs).
    • It's very versatile: you can serve this as a main dish over rice, with a fresh salad (tomato and peach salad), or as a snack (even better with slices of homemade artisan bread or ciabatta bread). Bonus: it sure tastes good with a mug of cold beer.

    Successful cooking tips

Here are the tips to make the best Cajun honey butter salmon bites. I have run into these mistakes, so you don't have to. Make sure to read these thoroughly BEFORE proceeding with the recipe:

    • Use a non-stick skillet or, better yet, a cast iron pan to avoid breaking those salmon bites into pieces while frying.
    • Like most of my recipes on this blog, unsalted butter should be used instead of salted butter.
    • Keep a closed eye on minced garlic after adding to the pan. It's very easy to overcook them and burned garlic doesn't taste good.
